I am in search of some 300 chairs for a client. This client has custom cast aluminum chairs on site now but they are breaking and must be replaced.
I would like to be able to copy the existing chairs, but I am willing to present chairs which are similar. The new chairs MUST be cast aluminum, 16-19 lbs, with a textured finish in an approved beige color and with fixed pads.
I can send photos of the existing chairs. The chairs have an ornate inset which you will be able to see. The chairs weigh 19 lbs each. They have the following dimensions:
Seat -
Height 17" Depth 18" Width 18"
Back -
Height 33" at outside, 32 1/2" across center
Width 20 3/4"
Arm -
Height 24" at support
Length 18" from seat back to front of arm, 23 1/2" from top of seat back down swoop to front of arm
The chairs are close to a light taupe or cream color with a textured finish. I will attempt to get you complete color swatches or pallettes as soon as I have an approved quote and color.
The chairs currently have a fixed seat with a naugahyde fabric that is a sage green. I will get you a proper swatch and code number when we have an approved quote.
My client will need these chairs individually boxed and properly supported and wrapped to avoid ANY damage in transit. The box weight must be the maximum weight allowed with wood supports in the bottom and each chair must be wrapped in foam at the arms, stretcher bars, back, and in heavy weight plastic bags then inserted into the box. Box must be sealed with heavy weight tape at all areas of closure meaning top and bottom.
If at all possible I will need the quote on a "sliding" scale. Meaning I will need quoted pricing for different levels such as price per 100 chairs, price per 200 chairs, and price per 300 chairs.
In addition, I will need to know manufacturing times. What would be your "best guess" for manufacturing times? Realizing that we will have a 14 to 20 day transit time, I need the best manufacturing times I can get.
