We are looking to source Bamboo sheeting and Veneers for skateboard production. Here are the specs:
1) Vertically Laminate Bamboo cores. Natural color made from laminated edge grain veneers: a. Width: 10?(26cm) x Length: 44?(112cm) we are somewhat flexible on the length and width) b. Thickness: Thicknesses will range between 0.26?(0.66cm) and 0.37?(0.94cm). Tolerances of 0.005cm or greater expected. We抎 prefer to receive finished cores, but we can sand down the cores to spec here.
2) Vertically Laminated Bamboo Veneers. Natural color made from laminated edge grain veneers a. Width: 10?(26cm) x Length: 44?(112cm) b. Thickness: Approximately .025?(0.636mm) with fleece or other non-paper backing. We are open to considering other thicknesses.
Glues for the Vertical Laminates must be non-formaldehyde based and low VOC.
