Continuous Cast Hot Rolled E.C. Grade Aluminum Wire used for Electrical purpose conforming to (ASTM B 233 – 85)
Diameter : 9.5 MM (Tolerance + 0.51 MM)
Temper : H- 14 & H- 24(ASTM B 233-85)
Tensile Strength : 103 – 138 N / mm2
Volume resistivity at 200c : 0.028080 Ohm-mm2/M
Conductivity : 61.4% of IACS
Purity : 99.5% Minimum
The Aluminum Wire shall be clean, sound, smooth and free of pipes laps, cracks, kinks, twists, seams, damaged end, excessive oil and other injurious defects within limits of good commercial practice.
After drawing the wire shall satisfy the requirement of ASTM B230-85. BS 2627 for production of overhead conductors as per ASTM B 232-86 & BS 215 (Part – 1 & Part – 2)
PACKING :
The Materials shall be packed in coils of not more than 2 MT in wooden pallets with water proof polythene inside and hard board paper banded with 4(four) steel strips across the coil and out side wrapping of water repellent jute wrapping, securely tied with 3(three) nylon strips to ensure safe transit by sea.
SAMPLE :
SAMPLE OF 100 METER ALUMINIUM WIRE MUST BE SUMITTED BY THE LOCAL MAURFACTURES AT THE TIME OF SUBMISSION OF THEIR OFFER.
FOREIGN BIDDER, WHOSE PRODUCT WAS NOT EARLIER USED/TESTED BY ECL, MUST BE SUBMITTED A SMPLE OF 100 METERE ALUMINIUM WIRE AT THE TIME OF SUBMISSION OF THEIR OFFER. |
