My company is major supplier of frozen vegetables & seafood to the Australian frozen food market place under our own brand label, Findus. Our company is a subsidiary of Findus AB, a major frozen food manufacturer in Europe.
Our company is the #2 brand in frozen vegetables and we import many of our products from Asia under our own product design. I found your web site on the internet.
I see that you manufacture frozen potato items. We are interested to have a number of frozen (par fried) IQF potato products manufactured for Findus to sell in the Australian market, packed under our own label. Our current suppliers do not manufacture IQF potato products.
The products would be packed in 8x1kg cartons, in printed (5-6 colour) poly bags for the retail market ?heated by consumers in the oven at 230C for about 15-20 minutes. The bag must be small in dimensions and ideally hand rather than machine packed to suit supermarket shelves.
The product range would include hand cut white flesh potato and sweet potato strips. We are seeking a plain (white) potato strip; an herb coated (white) potato strip and a fried sweet potato strip. A full product brief is available to you if you are interested to proceed.
Volumes would be in the order of 500-600 tonnes per annum across the range of 3 products. There is also other opportunity for your company to supply our mixed vegetable volumes. Production would commence in early 2006.
