Insul-Cote 445 is a two-component, polyurethane insulative coating especially formulated to provide extraordinarily high dielectric properties. Insul-Cote 445 is primarily used in the electronics field; and can provide more than 1000 volt resistance at thin films of only 2 mils thick. Insul-Cote 445 is also highly resistant to corrosion and abrasion, is not affected by most chemicals and solvents used by industry, and is non-nutrient to fungus and molds. Insul-Cote 445 is ideal for heat sinks, chassis, enclosures that house components in close proximity to each other, radar equipment, computers, and other applications that require a tough, highly insulating coating.
